Our Philosophy

Greenscapes uses only natural, organic techniques. No chemical fertilizers or pesticides are ever employed. In addition to our organic lawn care system, Greenscapes is dedicated to creating natural, organic landscapes using all native species. Every effort has been made to reduce our carbon footprint, including using all electric motors in our mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.

Services

Lawn Care

We offer bi-weekly and weekly lawn care plans. Both plans include mowing (using are all electric mowers), hand edging, and weed-eating.

Lawn Maintenance

In addition to weekly lawn care, Greenscapes offer monthly and seasonal maintenance. These services include:

· Organic Fertilization

· Mulching (Spring and Fall)

· Insect Control

· Disease and Fungus Control

Shrub and Tree Maintenance

Greenscapes employs three full-time arborists who perform on-site examinations of shrubs and trees. Our arborists use a 25-point analysis tool for determining the health and viability of trees. Trees are evaluated for survivability probability based on environmental and meteorological factors.

Leaf Removal

Beginning in early Fall, Greenscapes offers full leaf removal. Our leaf blowers are all electric and all bags are made of 100% recycled materials and are 100% biodegradable. All leaves are bagged and taken to our central composting unit. The following diagram illustrates the leaf removal process Greenscapes employees:

Specialty Services

Greenscapes has become known for offering unique, all-natural services as well as unique backyard experiences:

Koi ponds – Our pond designers have over 40 years combined experience. Our designs have ranged from traditional Japanese to modern minimalists and have ranged in size from 200 gallons to 10,000 gallons. In addition, to designing and installing ponds, Greenscapes also offers prize-winning koi for sale. These koi range in price from $75 to $4500 per fish.

Water landscapes – Our landscape architects will evaluate and create a singular water feature experience. Each design is unique and specifically designed to mesh with the landscape. Each water landscape comes pre-populated with over one thousand mosquito fish for natural small insect extermination.

Nature path – With our nature path package, you can transform your backyard into your own nature preserve. The package includes backyard analysis, identification of native species, and application for wildlife sanctuary status.

Chicken Coops – Greenscapes offers chicken coop installation, including all chicken wire and fencing. Greenscapes will also check with all local regulations and acquire any permits needed for keeping livestock.

Compost Silos – Greenscapes patented compost silos and pods make composting in your backyard simple. With our special formula for quick bio-degradation, you will have rich fertilizer for your garden, flowers, and shrubs within three months.
