MGMT 6090- Operations Management Capstone Project

OVERVIEW AND OBJECTIVE:

Sustainability has received adequate attention in engineering, business and other disciplines. The economic role of such practices, however, are best illustrated in the context of Circular economy models.

As graduates of Operations Management you must be familiar with the role and application of circular economy. In this group assignment you will have a chance to research the concept and current trends in such application.

REQUIREMNT:

Your group is assigned to conduct a research on:

1- the concept and significance of circular economy

2- Find an example of how principles of circular economy are- or could be- applied in one of the ten areas of operations management

Your group will orally present the results of this research in a class on Wednesday November 21, 2018. Each group will have 10 minutes to present their work, followed by a 5-minute Question & Answer (Q/A) period. All members of the group must actively present their work and be prepared to answer any question that may raised. Group presentations are evaluated by a guest expert based on the following rubric.
