Child Growth and Development Stages
Presentation Project
Objective:
Research and develop a presentation or video about a specific developmental stage in the life of a child.
Specifics:
With your teacher’s guidance,
1 – Assemble a team of students for this Project.
2 – Choose a child developmental stage to research:
newborns (0-2 months) toddlers (18-24 months)
infants (2-4 months) toddlers (2 years old)
infants (4-6 months) preschoolers (3 years old)
infants (6-9 months) preschoolers (4 years old)
infants (9-12 months) kindergarten (5 years old)
toddlers (12-18 months) school-age children (6 years +)
3 – Research this age group and development stage. You will want to find at least 5 different sources about this development stage, such as textbooks, magazines, books, videos, and websites. Your group will need to become expert in the growth and development of children in this stage.
4 – Create a presentation giving detailed information about this developmental stage. This presentation will need pictures, explanatory graphics, and original text. The presentation should include the following information:
Physical Growth
