d. Does the introduction tell the reader what is in the proposal?

4. Is the Problem Statement introduced in the text, set off in some way, and limited to one or two sentences?

5. Is the Requirements section clear to the reader what the requirements are for?

a. Change title to Solution Requirements

b. Is there introductory test explaining that the solution to the problem statement must meet the following requirements?

6. Is the scope of the project introduced and stated? Does it include both what is in the scope and what is not in scope?

7. Are the objectives of the Applied Projects introduced and listed with adequate explanation?

8. Do the objectives include:

a. Solving an industry problem

b. Demonstrating ability to manage a project

c. Demonstrating the use of knowledge obtained in the PSM program

9. Is the approach section an overview of how you re going to solve the problem statement?

10. Does the approach section explain to the reader your rationale for approaching the problem from this perspective?

11. Is the task section introduced and the reader is directed to a list of the tasks with task description?

12. Are the task-titles brief so they can be easily shown on the schedule?

13. Does each task description include a statement of what is to be done and what item results from this task (the task is not complete until the item is completed)?

14. Is the schedule introduced to the reader?

15. For the schedule:

a. Does it list the tasks for each phase?

b. Is the schedule easy to read?

c. Is there a legend or key that includes how the task is shown to be incomplete, % complete, and slipped?

d. Are key milestones such as reviews included in the schedule?

16. Is the Labor Budget a separate section that has introductory text?
