Carefully read the following case and answer questions below:

Faisal is a safety engineer in QW company for materials testing and safety. His company has been contracted by

another company, ABC, to conduct safety testing to ensure that firefighting systems work properly.

The contract stipulated that it was the responsibility of Faisal’s company (QW) to pay for an expensive additional

safety test for water pipes. However, the general manager reminds Faisal that their company is in financial

trouble and asks him to skip the extra testing and falsify the paperwork by saying that the testing had occurred

and that the systems passed.

Faisal argued with the general manager that by falsifying the reports, their company will be directly responsible

for any future accident especially if it is revealed that there was a violation of the contract with ABC company.

The manager insists on his opinion, and then goes on to tell Faisal that if he does not sign off on the testing, he

will be fired.

Faisal decides he cannot give in to his manager’s demands and started thinking to tell ABC company of what his

manager is trying to do.
