Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this unit, the student will be able to do the following:

· Define the processes included in creating a technical document

· Understand the various planning processes and select a suitable one for different writing occasions

· Understand and apply drafting processes and tools

· Identify standard revision processes and apply helpful revision tools

· Understand and apply the basics of editing and proofreading
