Chapter 5: Individualized Education Programs Worksheet 2

Traditionally, we would write an annual IEP goals with short-term objectives or benchmarks (page 86). The more modern approach would be writing Multielement Annual Goals which should include the following six elements (page 87):

1. By when

2. Who

3. Will do what

4. Under what conditions

5. At what level of proficiency

6. As measured by whom or what

1. Watch the following videhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbsZ4IjQ5e8 that talks about IEP goals and how to write a measurable goal. Try writing two measurable goals based on the video.

2. Read the current level of Performance for Elizabeth below and write one traditional IEP goal (page 88 of your online textbook) and short-term objectives and one multielement annual goals (page 87).
