Social Identity: Characteristics that others attribute to the individual

Self Identity: The process of self development through which we formulate a unique sense of ourselves and our relationship to the world around us

Bellieved that we have a:

and a perception of a Generalized Other

Self Consciousness: Awareness if our distinct social identity as a person separate from others (The “I”)
