IN CLASS ASSIGNMENT
Think about your norm violation assignment.
On a sheet of paper, write down the ways that you violating a social norm influenced the following:
Social Identity-How others perceive you
Self Identity-How you perceive yourself
How did your Self-Consciousness (awareness of your self/social identity) affect your ability to act outside the norm?
How does cultural context (Generalized Other) impact your experiment?
