a. What are the means for the two data set?
Data set 1 = 87.73333
Data set 2 = 39.73333
b. What are the medians for the two data sets? Is there any different or similarity between the mean and the median? Explain the similarity or difference.
Data set 1 = 88
Data set 2 = 45
There is difference. The difference is as result of mean being average of the totals divided by number of appearance while median is middle entry for the data set.
c. What are the standard deviations for each of the data set?
Data set 1 =16.26331
Data set 2 = 17.64518
d. Construct a histogram for each data set, using 5 as your class width and starting with 60 as your lowest class for data set 1 and 10 for data set 2.
e. Related the standard deviation you calculated in part c to your histogram in part d.
Data set 1 = 0.18537
Data set 2 = 0.44409
