Explain the different types of intervention strategies: human-process based, techno- structural, sociotechnical, and organizational transformation
When are internal change agents more likely to be successful, as compared to external change agents? If both are involved in the same intervention, what kinds of problems could arise? How are these problems resolved?
Select an issue that has been a concern or problem for your and organization and conduct a force-field analysis. Refer back to Figure 14.2.
Describe how an organization ideally should introduce change and how such changes can produce desired effects. Do you think that an organization can replicate another organization’s procedure and get the same results? Why or why not?
What skills should a change agent possess in order to help a dysfunctional group become more effective? What if problems exist between managers? How would you address that issue? What happens if the managers refuse the help of the change agent?
Your research brief should be 500-750 words and include a title page and reference page. The paper must be formatted according to APA 6th edition. You must use, at a minimum, your textbook and three additional sources from professional and/or peer reviewed journals for a total of four references. Note that non-professional/non-peer reviewed references will not count toward the reference requirement.
