SMART Goals
Write three SMART goals for your future: one personal goal, one professional goal, and one academic goal. When writing these goals, try to make them:
1. As specific as possible.
1. Measurable (How will you know they have been accomplished?)
1. Achievable, realistic, and attainable.
1. Relevant to what matters to you (they may align with other goals you have).
1. Timely (The goals should have a target date for completion.)
Personal Goal
My personal goal is to let go of the past trauma in my life because it is affecting my mental health and general productivity in life. I intend to attend therapy sessions with a professional for three months and to be active with activities that diverse my thoughts from my past and have new adventure. Also ,I plan to interact with different people to have different view of life and to learn new things from people’s experiences.
Professional Goal
My professional goal is to add more people on my professional network. The people on my network have not been growing and as such more clients and opportunities cannot be reached on a large scale. To add more people on my professional network in the next one year, I will use social media to post on my accounts and my business platform. I will also do one on one talk with new people I meet and tell them about my business. The business network will grow because new people will be interacting with content on it. Expanding my professional network will generate more income and establish a larger market for my business.
Academic Goal
My academic goal is to pursue a Masters program. The Masters program will be pursued in 2024. I will use this time to save on money for the program and the program will help me have more knowledge withing my profession. Additionally, it will add value to my CV which will be beneficial in helping me have a higher salary in employment. It feels prestigious to have a Masters degree and builds confidence in me.
