Network Description:
Router: A networking device that routes data packets between computer networks. A packet is typically forwarded from one router to another router through networks.
o The router controls TCP/IP VLAN traffic.
Switch: is a hardware device that channels incoming data from multiple input ports to a specific output port that will take it toward its intended destination.
o Two major network Switches to route packets within the same network and provide specific network traffic to the routers and firewalls.
Firewall: is a hardware device or software designed to prevent unauthorized access to or from a private network.
o The main Internet Firewall is a Cisco hardware router that protects all traffic coming from the World Wide Web which includes in-bound and out-bound traffic (all users). The three internal Firewalls control internal traffic and route users requests to all PC and Laptops within the network.
