Commercial Proposal
Commercial Proposal
In the Certification Authorities for Transport Airplanes (CATA), you'll find representatives from ANAC (Brazil), EASA (Europe), FAA (United States), and TCCA (Canada) (Canada). The aim of the CATA is to discover potential avenues for harmonizing certification rules and procedures, and then to aggressively pursue those such avenues via collaborative endeavours. The CATA Charter in its totality was conceived upon and drafted by the Certification Management Team, which is composed of certification directors (CMT).
CATA (Certification Authorities for Transport Airplanes) is an operational working group whose objective is to assist the efforts of airworthiness authorities, the major duty of which is the design of transport aircraft, in their quest to establish a safe flying environment. Participating airworthiness regulatory organizations The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), and the Ag6ncia Nacional de Avlao Civil are now among the organizations covered in this category (ANAC). This organization helps the participating airworthiness authorities achieve their goal of improving aviation safety by resolving technical and product-type challenges and maintaining shared visibility and llnkage to higher collective bodies. The Certification Team is abbreviated as CMT (CMT). Because of the involvement of national airworthiness authorities, this organization will function as a subset of the CMT and will collaborate with the organization to which it eventually reports.
Price
The group does not have authority over the rulemaking and policymaking processes and procedures, which are constrained by the conditions of relevant bilateral and international agreements such as ICAO Annex 8, Airworthiness of Aircraft. These procedures and processes fall outside of the group's scope. Any group project that has the potential to have an impact on the IPA, TIP, or a comparable bilateral agreement that governs airworthiness and environmental certification is required to seek clearance from the CMT. This approval process must be followed. This committee's primary point of contact with the CMT will be the CMT Secretariat, which will be responsible for ensuring that all required arrangements are made with the CMT.
Terms and conditions.
If the member-authority becomes aware of circumstances that make it obvious that following the documented approach would not result in compliance with the airworthiness standards of the member-applicable authority, then the member-authority may require additional substantiation or design changes as the basis for determining compliance. The terms of the CATA document are not binding, and the member-authority may also require additional design changes as the basis for determining compliance. The compliance techniques that are specified in this decision paper are not legally mandatory on applicants, as is the case with all other CATA decision papers. Candidates are encouraged to include suggestions for creative new approaches within their application materials.
