Appliance Warehouse Review
Application Warehouse is a business that deals in the sale of goods and products. They collect the appliances from different suppliers and producers, store them, and offer them to customers who purchase them for various needs. The firm also sells replacement parts for products that have broken down. They initially did not offer repair services to clients who needed them but are now considering including a service repair department to benefit from that income stream.
According to Grant, 2016,businesses need to maximize and optimize their revenue earnings as per their capacity and as long they are not offering a much-needed service that they can provide, then they are not operating optimally. Organizational restructuring is needed to ensure the firm operates at its full capacity(Fleisher et.al, 2015). In this case, the much-needed service department needs to be set up to maximize the firm’s earning.

Opportunity Statement for the new department
Appliance Warehouse currently lacks a service department. This is a problem that needs to be fixed. As a result of this, customers who needed to have their appliances fixed were being referred to other service providers. Thus we were missing on the revenue that would be generated from servicing client’s appliances. We, therefore, need to establish a service department complete with technicians to service broken appliances and absorb that revenue stream into the business.
