Guidelines for Writing, Preparing, and Presenting the Case Studies

Procedures (Information to include in the presentation):

1. Start with a brief discussion of the situation

2. Describe the symptoms/causes of the problem(s) in the case

3. Identify the major problem(s)

4. Provide a set of solutions

5. Provide a cost/benefit analysis of possible solutions

6. Recommend a solution and provide a rationale for your choice(s)

7. Discuss why this case study is important and what can/should be learned from it

The PRESENTING group will answer and discuss all seven (7) of the procedural statements. (15 minutes)

Prepare:

· Powerpoint presentation (group name, group logo, group member’s names, information related to each of the seven procedures listed above

· Email your final presentation to the instructor and the class

The CRITIQUING group will respond to the information provided by the presenting group, and they will specifically respond to #4, #5, and #6. (5 minutes)

Prepare:

· Verbal responses for procedures #4, #5 and #6

· Questions for the presenting group about the case study (create as many questions as you can since the presenting group may answer your questions during their presentation)
