Case Study 1 covers topics from Week 1 to 5, and it has two parts: (1) Reading Comprehension (fill in the blank questions); (2) Case Study (calculations, multiple-choice and short essay questions). 

You will need to download the dataset from Canvas and use Excel to work out the results.

Fill in blank Questions (6 in total)

· Q1 to Q6 (6 questions) :

· Coverage: Case. Read the case and find the relevant information and fill in the blanks. You can find all information from the case. 

· Level of difficulty: Very Easy

Case Study Questions (10 in total)

· All the rest questions (Q7 to Q 16)

· Need to download the dataset from Canvas

· Excel will be still required as you have to work out some statistics and the confidence intervals

· You have to know how to calculate the 'margin of error' and so the confidence intervals:

· when to use t? and z?

· when to use SD? and SE?

· Need to interpret the meaning of confidence intervals at 90%, 95% and 99% confidence levels 

· You will also need to know how to calculate the t-score, z-score and p-value

· You will need to know how to develop the null and alternative hypotheses 

· You will need to know how to do a hypothesis test

· You will need to know how to make a decision under complexity
