Read “Monsanto Attempts to Balance Stakeholder Interests” on pages 382-393 of your textbook.

Use the Case Study Template shown in Canvas. Download this to your computer and write your

case study on this document. Save and submit your Word document in Canvas.

In your case analysis, you should have the following:

• In the first section give a 1 or 2 paragraph overview of the case.

• In the second section “Questions for the Case” answer these questions in paragraph form:

o What are the ethical issues in this case?

o Who are the stakeholders in this case?

o Does Monsanto maintain an ethical cultural?

• In the next section “Company’s Approach” give a brief overview of how Monsanto

handles their ethical issues.

• In the final section “Evaluation”, address how well Monsanto handled the ethical issues

and your recommendations for Monsanto.

Make sure you use your textbook readings in Chapters 1-2 to substantiate your analysis. No

direct quotes! Paraphrase in your own words and cite your source.

This paper should be between 4-6 pages including the title page and reference sheet. Remember,

this is a short case study with approximately 2-3 pages of your analysis. Assume your reader

understands the case and present your analysis!
