Who is Perry Reese Jr.? – Give a fact list…what is the story of PRJ?

Perry Reese Jr. is a former high school basketball coach who was fired from his job after he spoke out against racism and discrimination in the school district. He was also the subject of a documentary, "Perry Reese Jr.: A Coach's Story." (Smith, 2014)

What do you think were Perry Reese Jr. core values? Explain….tell why?

Based on the information in the articles and video, it seems that Perry Reese Jr.'s core values include equality, justice, and standing up for what is right. He was willing to risk his job and reputation to speak out against racism and discrimination, and he has continued to fight for change even after being fired from his job (Duve, 2021).

Identify the examples social diversity in these articles. Give detailed examples of all the social diversity related to the life of Coach PRJ.

Some examples of social diversity in these articles include race, religion, and culture. Perry Reese Jr. is African American, and he has spoken out against racism and discrimination against black people. He is also a Christian, and he has used his platform to speak out against injustice and discrimination against Christians (Smith, 2014). In addition, he is from a different culture than the majority of the people in his school district, and he has spoken out about the need for cultural understanding and respect.

What impression has Perry Reese Jr. made on you in regards to racial/ethnic diversity?

Perry Reese Jr. has made a positive impression on me in regards to racial/ethnic diversity. He has shown that he is willing to stand up against racism and discrimination, and he has been an advocate for change. He has also shown that he is open to learning about other cultures and respecting them.

What is your overall perspective of this unique story involving race, religion, and social diversity?

I think this is a unique story that highlights the importance of standing up for what is right, even when it is difficult. Perry Reese Jr. risked a lot to speak out against racism and discrimination, and he has continued to fight for change even after being fired from his job. I admire his courage and his commitment to making a difference.
