Case  Information:

You will be looking at identifying data trends using Tableau (access information is located in the announcements) and creating a user input form in Excel this week based on the data you selected.

Analysis Requirements:

· Based on your readings and peer reviewed literature use the template provided  to complete this assignment

· Review the video below and the handout on Tableau basics to assist you in making a bar chart in Tableau.

· To obtain data for this case:

· Use Tableau to identify any trends in the data set you downloaded by creating a bar chart. Be sure you have some correlation in your chart. Ex. temperature and amount of snow fall.

· Based on the trends you identified design a user data input form in Excel that will ensure there are data entry controls in place for the data. You must use advance features like data validation, drop down boxes, conditional formatting, etc.

· As part of your discussion identify how the form you created will improve overall data input controls as far as the accuracy or consistency of the data.

Writing/Presentation Requirements:

· The body of this paper should be 2-3 pages (not including cover page, abstract or references) but not more than 4 pages.

· This research paper requires a minimum of two scholarly references: academic journals, professional journals, and/or appropriate authoritative references such as FASB Codification System, COSO, COBIT, Audit Standards, etc.

· Be sure to provide specific examples throughout your paper to back up your statements

· All research papers are submitted in APA format for sources and citations.

· Analysis with the charts embedded into the Word Document
