Teaching billy; case study #2

Case studies of gifted children will be assigned throughout the semester. Students will prepare a minimum 1-page (double spaced; 12 pt. font) response paper following the class discussion of the case.

Responses should address the following questions:

1. What is the primary issue to be addressed?

2. Is there a secondary issue, if so, what is it?

3. What cultural factors are relevant to the case (e.g., socioeconomic status; English Language Learner; ethnicity; traditions; values/beliefs; family setting; community norms)?

4. What course of action would you recommend?

5. What additional information, if any, would you like to know?
