Mini Cases in Movement Disorders

In this module, you will complete a  mini-case. This type of case study is based actual medical cases from the literature. You will work to evaluate a patient, and synthesize brain-behavior links through directed questions. You can use your textbook and the lectures as a starting point, but you will need to do additional research. For mini-case studies, you will turn in  one slide with all of your answers. No other format is accepted.

Objectives

1. Break down areas of the brain associated with voluntary movement and movement control.

2. Diagnose neurological disorders that affect movement, and select treatment or intervention options.

3. Explain the motor consequences of damage to or dysfunction in a brain area or areas.
