Working as a Senior Consultant at Caring Angel Hospital is a satisfying experience and one of

my responsibilities is to examine the activities at the Hospital in order to resolve numerous

order in the hospital and monitoring and observing the challenges would assist in providing

the necessary consultation report for improvement. Among the things on which I need to

concentrate are the enhancement of the quality of care and the enhancement of the morale of

the workforce. Three months of my time will be spent at Caring Angel Hospital, and by the

end of my second month there, it was clear that my efforts had helped to make substantial

ATTRACTIVE DEMEANOR WHILE ATTENDING TO PATIENTS. 1 WHENEVER

THERE IS SMILE AMONG THE STAFF, IT SENDS A MESSAGE OF HOPE AND

CONFIDENCE TO THE PATIENT’S DUE DEMEANOR BEING DISPLAYED

HENCE AN IMPROVEMENT IN THE QUALITY OF CARE BECAUSE THE

PATIENTS WILL HAVE CONFIDENCE ON THE PROVIDERS. The management of

the Caring Angel Hospital need to consider investing in the infrastructure and equipment

used in the facility to improve the quality of care. I recommend that modern furniture be

provided into the facility for the purpose of comfort for the employees waiting for their

services and those waiting for their appointment. In addition, the management should also

consider creating a good working environment where the management has a good

communication with the nurses and patients to facilitate a good interactions and a patient

centered care (Riad, 2017). The management should be sharing a common goal of patient

satisfaction with the nurses and doctors.

MEDICAL HOSPITALS FOR MORE SPECIALIZED CARE. ALSO, INCREASING

THE NUMBER OF PHYSICIANS AT THE CRITICAL AREA SUCH AS

CARDIOVASCULAR WILL ENHANCE VALUE ADDITION IN THIS HOSPITAL.

Based on the highlighted challenges, Caring Angel Hospital should consider investing in

modern healthcare equipment that facilitate specialized care for the patients to avoid the

hoping of patients and ensure that all healthcare services are offered under one roof.

1 ENHANCING EMPLOYEE MORALE CURRENTLY, THERE IS A LOT LOW

MORALE AT THIS HOSPITAL WITH THE VIEW THAT THE STAFF IS

OPERATING IN THE HOSPITAL AS IF THERE NO ONE WHO LISTENS TO THE

GRIEVANCES (MERCADO, 2021). HOWEVER, WITH MY KEEN OBSERVATION

AND EXAMINATION AT THE HOSPITAL, I ESTABLISHED THAT THERE IS A

LOT OF BLAME GAMES THAT IS GOING ON BETWEEN DIFFERENT STAFF

MEMBERS AT THE POINT WHERE THERE ARE PROBLEMS EVEN WHERE

THE MINOR MISTAKES EXIST.

THE IDEAL WAY OF FINDING OUT THE MORALE PROBLEMS WITHIN THE

FACILITY IS THROUGH INTERACTIONS WITH THE STAFF AND FROM

RESEARCH IT IS CLEAR THAT, MOST WORKERS LOOK FORWARD TO

WORKING AT AN ENVIRONMENT THAT IS DYNAMIC AS WELL AS

PROFESSIONAL (MERCADO, 2021). I LOOK FORWARD TO ADOPTING THIS

ONE AT THIS HOSPITAL TOO. EVERY EMPLOYEE SHOULD CONDUCT

HIMSELF OR HERSELF IN THE MOST PROFESSIONALLY AND ENCOURAGE

TEAMWORK TO REALIZE MORE PRODUCTION. COMMUNICATION ENABLES

THE EMPLOYEES TO HAVE MORE CONFIDENCE IN THE WORK AS WELL AS

THE MANAGEMENT (RIAD, 2017). I would also recommend that the management

create a good communication framework that allow employees air their grievances and also

offer necessary career development and training. Offering career development contribute to

motivation since employees feels that their contribution is appreciated and deliver quality

services to the patients. An increased smile is experienced when the grievances of nurses and

doctors are taken into consideration resulting to improved patient centered care.

AND INFORMATION ARE SHARED THROUGH VARIOUS PROTOCOLS.

COMMUNICATION SHOULD BE FOCUSED AND GIVEN PRIORITY TO SUIT

BOTH COMPANY CULTURE (MERCADO, 2021). THERE SHOULD

COMMUNICATION FREE COMMUNICATION AMONG THE SUPERVISORY

TEAM AND BECAUSE THIS IS A HOSPITAL FACILITY, I WILL ALSO GO AHEAD

AND SUGGEST THAT THERE BE A FREE-RANGE OF COMMUNICATION

AMONG THE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT HAVING ANY ROLES IN SUPERVISION

AT THE TIME INFORMATION IS DELIVERED PERTAINING THE CARE OF THE

PATIENTS. THERE IS PARTICULAR INFORMATION THAT IS BEST OFFERED

BETWEEN CAREGIVERS AS WELL AS THOSE WHO ARE PROVIDING CARE TO

PATIENTS BE ABLE TO CONVERSE FREELY WITH EACH OTHER.

1 IN HEALTHCARE, TEAMWORK IS THE MOST CRITICAL THING THAT MUST

BE UPHELD AS FAR AS HEALTHCARE IS CONCERNED. DIVERSITY RELATED

ISSUES HAS BOTH CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES DUE TO THE

TEAMWORK SPIRIT BEING THAT IS BEING PROPELLED (SHAKHABOV ET

AL., 2020). THEREFORE, IN ORDER TO REALIZE TEAMWORK, ISSUES SUCH

AS SUPERVISION, COMMUNICATION AS WELL AS THE TEAM STRUCTURE.

FOR ANYONE TO ACHIEVE TEAMWORK, THERE IS NEED TO PUT TOGETHER

THE TEAM BY FIRST STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES OF THE PERSON

WITHIN THE TEAM. The management of the Caring Angel Hospital should consider

developing a teamwork culture and embrace it by hiring diverse workforce and create an

environment that favor teamwork by offering the necessary support and inter-professional

collaboration.

SHOULD BE OF COMPARATIVE VALUE TO THE PROGRAMS THAT EXIST IN

THIS HOSPITAL. THIS WILL ENSURE THAT PROGRAMS ARE ENHANCED TO

MEET THE NEEDS OF CONSUMERS. IN OTHER WORDS, IT MEANS THAT

THERE MUST BE SOMETHING EXISTING IN THE EDGY PLAN THAT WILL AT

THE END BENEFIT THE HOSPITAL PATIENTS. I propose that the Caring Angel

Hospital management should have the best patient management system that facilitate

booking of appointment and make sure that patient is communicated on time to avoid

attending to appointments late or failure to show up (Mercado, 2021). The best technology in

management systems of data and quality equipment would make the facility more competitive

in the medical and healthcare industry.

Question 2

1 THE HOSPITAL SHOULD ENSURE THAT THERE IS A TOTAL OVERHAUL OF

THE ENTIRE SYSTEM FOR IT TO ACQUIRE LARGER MARKET SHARE.

BEFORE GOING FURTHER, IT IS EVIDENT THAT THIS HOSPITAL THERE ARE

POSITIVE QUALITIES THAT HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY SET BY THE

ORGANIZATION, FOR INSTANCE, THE RENOWNED CANCER FACILITY THAT

HAS SEEN IT PROSPER. IN THE SAME GEOGRAPHICAL AREA, THERE IS

ANOTHER HOSPITAL THAT HAS VARIOUS FIELDS AND IT INTERESTED IN

MERGING WITH CARING ANGEL HOSPITAL. THEREFORE, AS BOTH

MERGES, THERE WILL BE INCREASED REVENUE THUS BIGGER MARKET

SHARE BECAUSE OF NO FURTHER FINANCIAL LOSSES INCURRED.

1 THIS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH SERVICE VALUE-ADDITIONS THAT ARE

BEING OFFERED. THIS CAN BE ACHIEVED BY SETTING UP THE ADDED

VALUE IN ORDER TO ENHANCE REMOTE CONSULTATION IN SPECIALIZED

FIELDS. THE PATIENTS ARE CONSISTENTLY SEARCHING FOR SPECIALIZED

CARE IN DIFFERENT AREAS AT THE SITUATION WHERE THE SPECIALIZED

TREATMENT IS NOT OFFERED; THERE IS HIGH CHANCES THAT THE

PATIENT WILL TRANSFER TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL (BARNALI & BASU,

2020). TO SOLVE THIS MATTER, THE HOSPITAL SHOULD MERGE WITH

OTHER HOSPITALS PROVIDING SAME SERVICES WITHIN THE REGION.

ALSO, TO HAVE THE BEST POSSIBLE CARE, THE HOSPITAL SHOULD

DIGITIZE ALL THE HEALTH RECORDS. HAVING AN ELECTRONIC SYSTEM OF

THE HEALTH RECORDS WILL GO A LONG WAY IN ADDRESSING THE RISING

ISSUE OF MISSING APPOINTMENTS BECAUSE THE PATIENTS WILL RECEIVE

COMMUNICATION ONLINE THROUGH EMAIL THUS REDUCING THE LEVEL

OF COMING IN ON WRONG DAYS. IT WAS OBSERVED THAT THE

CONSUMERS WERE CONSTANTLY ATTENDING ON THE WRONG DAY OF

APPOINTMENT.

Conclusion

1 IN CONCLUSION, I WISH TO STATE THAT GOING FORWARD, THE

MANAGEMENT OF THIS HOSPITAL HAS GREATER POTENTIAL THAT NEED

TO BE MAINTAINED IN ORDER TO GET VALUE OF THIS CRITICAL FACILITY

IN THE REGION. THERE ARE SIGNIFICANT OPPORTUNITIES AND POSITIVE

QUALITIES THAT HAVE BEEN HIGHLIGHTED ABOUT CARING ANGEL

HOSPITAL. WHEN THESE RECOMMENDATIONS ARE WELL IMPLEMENTED, I

HAVE NO REASONABLE DOUBT THE HOSPITAL WILL EMERGE STRONGER

HEALTH CARE INSTITUTION.
