All these tools with help the organization to know whether the workers are aware of the organizational goal or not? What do they expect from the organization and what are they expected to do. The result of the need assessment should answer the following questions (Greenberg, n.d.).

What is needed?

Why is it needed?

Who needs it?

Who will provide it and how?

What will it cost?

What the personal goals of the employees?

Do they align with organizational goals?

The emanating needs can also be comprehended by conducting a performance appraisal, which will help to know whether employees and volunteers are delivering what is needed. Summary

The needs analysis tool opted to comprehend the needs of the volunteer and employees at Childhelp has helped us to know whether the employees & volunteers possess basic skills to cope with the underprivileged children. Hence, a training system is developed to foster leadership skills in them and to teach them about the psyche of the children who are suffering from homelessness and living a street life. Indeed, such children are difficult to handle. They are starkly different from normal children who lead a normal life with their parents. Hence, volunteers and employees should understand what is needed to handle such children and what do they expect from us. Moreover, a basic training pertaining to the paperwork is also provided to the trainees. The training system for teachers is more comprehensive and extensive with respect to their duties and responsibilities.
