Since its "arrival" in late 2019, the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) has caused more harm than good in Union County, Texas, where the number of cases was startling—roughly 12,320 people were infected (cdc.gov), and over 1430 deaths were reported. The overwhelming nature of the pandemic put a strain on the county's limited resources for healthcare, and one of the community's main needs—aside from the scarcity or high cost of personal protective equipment (PPEs)—is the need for Social Distancing (SD), which has become a concerning issue in the area due to overpopulation. In this Capstone Change Project, the preceptor and the student have chosen to conduct research on one of the following topics:

1. The effectiveness of Social Distancing (SD) in curbing the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19. (Preferred topic)

2. The effectiveness of facemask usage in preventing the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.

3. Contact tracing and how it could help to stop the spread of Corona virus
