PART 1
Students will demonstrate the ability to dribble a soccer ball.
Students will demonstrate knowlegde all the rules of softball.
Students will demonstrate the ability to appreciate their classmates.
Students will demonstrate the ability to remember the three juggling patterns.
Students will demonstrate the ability to understand and consider the safety rules.
Students will demonstrate the ability to be aware of bullying and help prevent it .
Students will demonstrate the ability understand how to find the correct jump rope.
PART 2
Grade Level – 5th
Standard/Outcome – 1.4 Enter, jump, and leave a long rope turned by others.
Rationale – This can improve coordination, entering, jumping, and leaving a long rope turned by others helps the students foot and eye coordination and it also strengthens the muscles surrounding the students foot and ankle joints, as well as decreasing foot and ankle injuries.
Grade Level – 5th
Standard/Outcome – 1.2 Jump for height, using proper takeoff and landing form
Rationale – Jumping can help develop students awareness of their enviorment and how their body relates to that eviroment along with being childrens 1st physical expression of different emotions such as joy, excitement. impatience, frustration or anger.
PART 3
Grade 5 Assessments for Jumping Rope
Beginer- Can perform one skill continusly for 3 jumps
Amateur- Can perform two skill continusly for 3 jumps
Intermediate- Can perform three skill continusly for 3 jumps
Advanced- Can perform four skill continusly for 3 jumps
Master- Can perform five skill continusly for 3 jumps
5th Grade Assessment for Jumping, Takeoff, and Landing
Beginer- Can perform jump and land safely for 3 jumps
Amateur- Can use arms properly to perform jump and land safely for 3 jumps
Intermediate- Can use arms, and legs to perform jump and land safely for 3 jumps
Advanced- Can use arms to properly to prepare and perform jump safely for 3 jumps
Master- Can use arms and legs to prepare for jump, maintain body airborne and perform jump safely for 3 jumps
