Hopefully after reading the chapter and going over the slides you can see that cancer is complicated. There is a lot of research being done on this topic on both the causes and cures. It seems that you will be sitting watching the news and then they say some new study finds another thing causes cancer….cell phones to our heads, BPA in water bottles, sugar, red meat……. The list goes on and on.
Explore some secondary science sites and find an article that has made a discovery about cancer. It can be about something that has been recently linked to cause cancer or about some new potential cures. I will post links to some secondary links and you can search for cancer and it will bring up a lot of information. You are not restricted to just these links. Read the article and then write up a brief summary on their findings. The summary should be at least 1-2 paragraphs and be sure to include a link to the article you are summarizing. You can also include your opinion on if this will change how you live your life. Example is if they say they observed those who consume red meat are 25% more likely to develop cancer than those who stick to a strict vegetarian diet. Would you make changes to your diet/life or do you go on with life how you were before? Have fun with this.
