The CEO works as the overall authority in the company

He is in direct connection with various departmental heads who in turn link with the rest of the employees

It creates a line of command to be followed

This ensures there is conflict in service delivery

In this case, the president is CEO is overall

It is necessary for a company to have a clear organizational structure

This makes it easy for the management team to execute its roles because the chain of command is clear.

The company primarily manufactures high-end motorbikes

It also sells spare parts for its products (Harley Davidson, 2017)

Primary services include repairing and serving its customers products in its garages

Additionally, it provides permits to third-parties to sell its products

The company basically manufactures and sells high-end motorbikes to the financially stable members of the society

It also collaborates with third parties by giving them licenses to sell its products to consumers

The goals and objectives provide the direction to the company

The overall goals and objectives are concerned with providing better services to meet customer satisfaction as well as make profits

In 2009 the revenue was $4.29 billion (Harley Davidson, 2010)

It was an decrease of 23.1% from the $5.58 billion realized in 2008

The total loss was $147.2 million

The loss was attributed to structural changes

The poor economic conditions also played a role in the loss

The company suffered a loss of $147.2 million and it was majorly because of overall economic conditions
