Overall, a fine start to drafting. Internal comments give some guidance on how to be more specific. Need to look at the rubric, attached to the assignment sheet, and make sure you are accomplishing all of the requirements of this essay. It is not 100% clear what type of argument you plan to have in each BP (Flipgrid videos for guidance). 84/100

I. Broad Topic: Is there really “technology addiction”? Or is it merely anxiety that prevent people from focusing on the work?(1,2,3,4)

II. Specific Topic: “technology addition” especially playing video games, watching videos, using cell phone or internet for a long time, these behaviors delay doing something else or just give people a break time from stress and work?

III. Claim/Thesis: “ technology addition” is not merely anxiety that preventS people from focusing on theIR work, it delayS people from doing something else. “something else” is very vague, broad and undefined. You could literally talk about “being kept from anything” so it is wise to make this more specific so that you can define specifically in your BPs.

IV. BP Topic Sentences

BP1 topic sentence Is this an inform argument? OR is it persuasive?

Rely on technology will cause students TO decrease theIR study efficiency, instead of making study easily.<-- wrong word form here.

BP2 topic sentence Is this explore, inform, or persuade?

Surfing the internet or using cell phone after the work may cause people losing opportunities to communicate with people and taking care of people that surrounding us. this is very wordy. A lot words to say simply 1) lose opportunities to communicate and take care of people

BP3 topic sentence Is this make a decision or persuade?

Using technology during the break time what break time? In BP1 & 2 you are speaking very broadly and in this paragraph you seem to be speaking specifically about ELC classes that have breaks? OR are you are talking about breaks from school, like holidays? can make people more tired.

V. Ideas from sources

1. “Can millennials pay...” M Miller

a) P.3 Lines48-51

2. “A year off-line” P. Mille

a) 1:27-1:51. This definitely fits what you have as your topics in your BPs
