BusinessStrategy-Post2.docx

From the outside, the word business strategy looks self-explanatory and straightforward, but once you involve yourself in that, it is complicated and the business’s heart. For any business to succeed in the competitive world, it requires a clear and well-managed business strategy; without a precise business strategy, business runs on guess work. A good and approached business strategy defines a clear path to the organization; it can define the organization’s future policy and roadmap. The organization strategy means planning of using organization resources to achieve the business strategy. The resources may include employee, yearly or quarterly budget, company production, company marketing, and company investment (Simmonds-Cox, 2019). IS strategy or information system strategy means planning providing information service for better collaboration, productive engagement, and innovative production.

The business strategy uses the organizational strategy and IS strategy to achieve its goals. It is the part of business strategy development that works together with others and achieves the target. For any organization to sustain and develop its business, the business strategy must drive the IS and organizational strategy. Without having clear goals and targets, an organizational strategy cannot achieve the objective of the business. The business model is a part of the business strategy, and it defines the competency for organization services or products.

Typically, in an organization business management group thinks of changing the existing IS system and plans to make updated and more informative and engaging IS systems. Many times, this thinking has an advert effect at the workplace. Business customers, employees, and contractors sometimes disconnect with the upgraded IS system. Rather than increasing the employee's productivity, this kind of change lower the employee's performance. Rather than increasing coordination with the customer these types of changes disconnect the customer with the business. An organization must have a clear and collaborative roadmap that can help the organization achieve its goal rather than deviating from the target. A successful business must balance between business strategy with IS and organizational strategy (Chen).
