Task :

You have to read and understand the case study and then we have to do a presentation, my parts are the one I have highleted after the case study.

You work for the Finance Director at Beyond Meat, a company offering a portfolio of plant-based meat alternatives/substitutes. Your company has been looking to work with McDonalds a major burger chain to trial your meat alternative products at their UK restaurants.

Your CEO is keen to make the most of this opportunity but recognizes that the company will need to raise finance; however, the company’s ethos is in line with understanding of the “Responsible Enterprise” and hence the speed for financial investment cannot override the need for sourcing that investment from ethical investors. For this assignment, please assume that this business opportunity is in line with the firm’s core “Responsible Enterprise” principles.

The CEO wants your multi-discipline team to undertake a review of the publicly available data and present a cost-benefit analysis of the potential partnership with McDonald’s, including both financial and non-financial information. The information you present should be in a format that will guide a future finance team, who will have the additional task of identify financial values for the non-financial data your team provides. This will then be used to calculate the social return on investment (SROI).

This is urgent, so you need to present your findings by Friday as there is a meeting of potential investors taking place next week.
