The other activities that the consumers use social media entail understanding the analytics work of the organization as well as the social media itself. Therefore, as a result, it is important for every employee of the organization to have the relevant skills, which also needs to be improved from time to time.

In this case, the employees of the organization are required to have essential social media websites like emails, WhatsApp, Twitter, and even other accounts that facilitate communication between the members of the organization. Therefore, using these accounts, the employees are involved in discussing the important issues that are affecting the organization and also look for potential solutions over the same issues. Similarly, these employees will require having the essential skills that will facilitate the carrying out of all the above essential operations.
Summary
The following report revolves around the issue of improving social media skills for the employees of an organization. Various reasons exist for improving these skills, and one of them that has been identified in the report include the need and advances in technology where all firms have to rely on technology to gain a competitive advantage. Therefore, after identifying that technology is having a great impact on the business, then the employees of the firm need to be introduced to social media by creating and using accounts and even serving the employees via the social media sites.
Background section
The current world of business is one that requires increased utilization of social media. Businesses are heavily relying on social media for various operations of the business. One of the important operations that businesses rely on social media includes marketing the various products and services that such a firm is providing and intends its consumers to consume such commodities and services (Webster, 2018). Therefore, businesses cannot operate effectively and become competitive without depending on social media. It is also important to indicate that almost all organizations, if not all, are using and depending on social media to ensure they become successful and also gain a competitive advantage. Therefore, all the employees are required to be those that are at a point of using social media to empower the organization and also have a great impact.
Discussion section (major findings)
One of the major findings is that social media is used for various activities and operations within an organization. Among the operations that are carried out by using social media within the company entail marketing the various products and services of the organization, communicating with the various consumers, engaging in analytics, and also the creation of new design, among other activities. Therefore, social media is an important aspect for any organization, and it aids in carrying out various and important activities of the company. In this case, it is an important part of any organization that ought to be successful (Samuels, 2016). The other finding is that social media allows an organization to be highly competitive and also become successful. As an example, the company uses the technology to research various information online, and the one that will be important for improving the commodities and provision of services that are required by the users of the organization.
The other finding is that the employees have essential skills that they require to engage in effective utilization of social media and numerous accounts. The above skills include communicating online, writing, designing, and even providing customers with the essential services that they require. However, these skills need to be improved from time to time, and this can be done by the employees and organization taking part in certain aspects that will ensure that these skills have been improved (Shaughnessy, 2012). One such activity includes training the employees and engaging in the development of the skills that are possessed by the employees. In this practice, the employees can be assisted to create accounts on the social media site that they will be using for the company. After creating these accounts, they will be shown ways they can log in and out and also invite others so that they might discuss the issues they intend to discuss online. The individuals having troubles in signing in and out might also be assisted so that they become knowledgeable about ways of dealing with the social media sites. Additionally, after they become knowledgeable about the social media sites, they will then be allowed to proceed with logging in without even being assisted (Patel, 2018). In this way, the employees will be deemed to have developed the important skills that they require, and this will have been done through engaging in effective training and development as they are important for making the employees also to be successful in what they are doing in the organization.
The table below illustrates the essential steps that might be used in improving the skills of the employees of the organization. Figure 1 demonstrates the effective way that employees might be assisted to improve their online skills.
