For this third business plan project assignment, I want you to

1. Go to www.strategicbusinessinsights.com/vals/presurvey.shtml.

2. Take the survey to determine which lifestyle category you fit into.

3. Write at least a two-page paper (Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1” margins all around, single-spaced) describing how your lifestyle and values impact your use of e-commerce. You’ll answer the questions below and discuss the evidence for each factor. You should include each question and then your answer in your paper. You should, at a minimum, answer the following questions:

a. How well do you think you match with the VALS Type they identified for you?

b. How is your online consumer behavior affected by your lifestyle?

c. How is your offline consumer behavior affected by your lifestyle?

d. After having looked at the different VALS types, which one do you think you should be using as your target audience and why? (Do NOT select more than one type for this exercise. You should always have a main target audience that is as specific as possible to help ensure your business’ success!)

Your answers will vary depending on the VALS segment profile into which you fall.
