Introduction
There are various ways in which entrepreneurs' work experiences relate to the generation of new business opportunities globally. Learning the mindset of individuals, which mainly favors exploration in the business world, is the main predictor of various business opportunities globally (Miralles et al., 2015). Additionally, functional work experiences tend to favor new business ideas, while industry-related work experiences tend to relate to the generation of business opportunities negatively.
Research has recently been carried out to determine and add adequate knowledge on how investments are carried out via human capital and work experiences. Study findings show that the learning mindset that favors the exploration of various business opportunities influences the expected outcomes of the early stages of numerous business practices. As such, most entrepreneurs should develop and nurture their mindsets, which mainly favors the exploration of new business opportunities since this would increase their capacity to generate more business ideas nationally and globally (Miralles et al., 2015). As such, there is a need for new business people to engage in new business practices, both domestically and internationally, to increase profits and boost their business performance. As a sales agent, the research on new business opportunities is crucial since it will aid acquire more knowledge and skills which are relevant to my area of expertise and also acquire novel insights with total respect to how some of the business factors relate in the process of generating and acquiring new business ideas.
Human Capital and Entrepreneurship
As such, there is a need for the development of human capital in relation to new work and business experiences among entrepreneurs both nationally and globally. New business experiences come about as a result of numerous experiential influences from different sources. However, there are some work experiences that can be recognized as significant inputs that facilitate entrepreneurial conjecture among various entrepreneurs globally (Marvel et al., 2014). Entrepreneurs are always faced with various challenges, such as the uncertainty about the value of the goods and services that they produce. In this case, various industry experiences may play a crucial role in creating a better understanding of how to meet a particular market place's demand and supply conditions. Such data is vital in helping me as a sales agent acquire the relevant knowledge about a particular target market that I ought to venture in. Industrial experiences also help sales agents to conduct due diligence, which is essential in the evaluation of the potential risks and merits that may be experienced within the business. The potential risks in a business are mostly associated with the various competitive resources in the business and the product availability, which are the essential factors to be looked into before effectively venturing into a new business opportunity.
The New Experiences and the Experiential Learning Process
The experiential learning process aids individuals, especially those willing to learn to effectively acquire knowledge, skills, and theories acquired in the classroom and easily relate it to the real world (Ruhi,2016). The new experience here may be the work experiences that most entrepreneurs engage in both internationally and domestically. This assumption majorly relates to the human capital theory, whereby most work-related outcomes gain more learning outcomes that result from the accumulation of experiences within the business (Marvel et al., 2014). Transformation processes can have different outcomes in businesses based on how individuals prefer to learn from experience. Entrepreneurs show differences to the extent to which they prefer to transform their experiences into knowledge via less searching to variations in experiences among various individuals. All search strategies are crucial for learning from experience, but they also compete for the available scarce resources, a clear indication that individuals have a tendency to specialize in one or two of them.
Most businesses prefer to emphasize exploration activities, hence seeking actions that are a bit different from the ones that they had already taken, hence seeking actions that are slightly different from those they had adopted. Exploration activities are mainly associated with behaviors such as risk-taking and experimentation, which are all essential qualities of a good business person. Additionally, exploration strategies also entail the strategic planning process whereby as a sales agent, I get the opportunity to strategically plan on all the relevant skills and knowledge that I acquired concerning my engagement in business activities hence effectively use the tactics to stand out in the business world. The planning would mainly entail the outlining and the organization of the project activities in such a way that I would ensure the effective delivery of services to my potential clients. Having ideas on such would enable me as a sales agent to easily come up with new and relevant business ideas and opportunities, which are in turn, crucial for conducting business activities.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the integration of these two intellectual theories and methods would play a vital role in ensuring the development of various entrepreneurship processes. New experiences in a business organization, especially the work experiences, are beneficial since they enable individuals to determine if either the role or the industry in which they operate meets their expected criteria and is somehow proving to be successful in the future. By questioning other employees in the area, individuals would be able to determine if the job really suits them. As such, individuals would acquire knowledge on the value of depth for new experiences and business opportunities, both domestically and internationally and plan on how they would intensively research their project.AS a sales agent, the theory and methods initially discussed would be crucial in boosting my sales in the pharmaceutical sales company, leading to increased profits.
