A Retirement Home for Elders

A retirement home also known as the old people’s home can be referred to as a nursing home that is intended to provide the best care to the elderly people. Each and every couple or person has her own room in the home that they stay in. Coming up with a house for the elderly prevents them from feeling lonely after retirement and making sure that they are able to engage in constructive activities together with building their skills at their old age (Hui et al., 2014). When elderly people come together they have an opportunity to make new friends and make their old age a productive stage. Some of the services that the elderly would receive in the home of the elders include nursing services, counseling services and education skills.

The main mission of our organization is to make sure there is provision of quality care among the elderly, a positive relationship among the elderly and their caregivers and the community around the organization benefits from everything that takes place within it. Our vision as an organization is to make sure that there is promotion of wellness among all the seniors. This is by making sure all the required resources are available and work for the benefits of the elders, the caregivers and the community at large (Fisher & Dickinson, 2014). Ensure there is enhancement of the senior services by providing the best education to the community members on how to take care of the seniors and conduct outreach programs for the seniors who are frail.

The company will be different in that the available caregivers working with the elderly will provide the best services to them through giving them the attention and care that they need. The charges asked from the family of the seniors will be very affordable (Goodwin et al., 2014). The elderly can learn something even if we think they are in their final stages of life. Providing education to them is the best thing to do as an organization. Making sure that the elders are always busy and they do not have time to think about their frustrations in life is the best way to help them.
