Business Plan

A business plan is an examination of a potential business opportunity at the company level. The business plan is to maximize profits for its owners or stakeholders while maintaining corporate social responsibility.

Business Case

The purpose of the business case is to document the justification for the undertaking of a project, usually based on the estimated cost of development and implementation against the risks and the anticipated business benefits and savings to be gained.

Difference Between Business Case and Business Plan

The business case and business plan both look into the future and complement each other. How the two are different is that a business case concerns an action (assessment done at the product level), while the business plan focus is the potential business opportunity.

Business case number one would be selected of these templates, as this most clearly relates to the issues within the automobile industry.
