Project Assignments Instructions

You will complete 4 project assignments in response to the provided scenario. You may have to build a small project plan, and make some assumptions. Each project submission must follow current PMBOK guidelines. Each submission must include 1 biblical integration summary that ties the current week topic back to Biblical project management. In your introductions and section summaries you will reference the textbook and other scholarly articles. I expect to see this cited and a reference page added in APA format. No other APA formatting is required as I expect you to utilize list, tables, charts, etc. to complete each document. Remember that this is a project document, search the internet for examples to get a look and feel for each, then follow PMBOK to build your documents. The 4 parts of this project are:

1. Project: Resource Management Plan—Utilizing PMBOK, the course text, and the discussion with your classmates in Modules/Weeks 1–2, develop a Resource Management Plan for the Anchorage, AK Technology Project. Use PMBOK as your guide to what to include. You must submit this assignment by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday of Module/Week 2.

2. Project: Communication Plan—Utilizing PMBOK, the course text, and the discussion with your classmates in Modules/Weeks 3–4, develop a Communication Plan for the Anchorage, AK Technology Project. Use PMBOK as your guide to what to include.

You must submit this assignment by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday of Module/Week 4.

3. Project: Risk Register and Risk Management Plan—Utilizing PMBOK, the course text, and the discussion with your classmates in Modules/Weeks 5–6, develop a Risk Register and Risk Management Plan for the Anchorage, AK Technology Project. Use PMBOK as your guide to what to include. You must submit this assignment by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday of Module/Week 6.

4. Project: Procurement Management Plan—Utilizing PMBOK, the course text, and the discussion with your classmates in Modules/Weeks 7–8, develop a Procurement Management Plan for the Anchorage, AK Technology Project. Use PMBOK as your guide to what to include. You must submit this assignment by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Friday of Module/Week 8.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS ASSIGNMENT is that you understand what these plans are, the information that goes into them, and how they are used. If you understand this, these assignments are easy.

BIBLICAL INTEGRATION MUST be a part of each plan. I suggest 1 paragraph at the end that has a verse related to the plan AND your interpretation/discussion.

ALL PLANS REQUIRE Alaska project information AND cited/reference materials to support your knowledge of these plans. A reference page is required.

THE OUTLINE FOR THESE PLANS can be found in PMBOK on the following pages:

1. Hunan Resource Management Plan – page 264 section 9.1.3.1

2. Communications Management Plan – page 296 section 10.1.3.1

3. Risk Management Plan page 316 section 11.1.3.1 AND a Risk Register for the Alaska project is explained in chapter 11. This should be a TABLE that includes the risk description, probability, impact, mitigation plan, and owner inserted into this plan

4. Procurement Management Plan – Page 366 section 12.1.3.1

HOW TO APPROACH this assignment . Think about how you can display the data in a way that is easy to read and makes sense. Tables, list graphics are all good. These plans are read by anyone looking for quick information. Can they get this from paragraphs? NO! The definition can be written a paragraph, the project details CANNOT. YOUR WILL BE GRADED ON STYLE! You may Google each one to look at examples, you may not use one of those examples as you finished product.
