Many businesses around the world were started as small-medium businesses and then grew into giant businesses. These businesses operate both locally and internationally to make as much income as possible. After production, a firm then markets its products to a market where there is a lot of competition between every kind of business. Some companies use various mediums of advertising their goods to make them popular to the consumers. Some of the platforms used include print media, the internet, especially through social media platforms like Facebook, among other ways of advertisement. These firms use a lot of capital in their advertisement for their products. The firms mostly prefer a social media platform to make their product(s) known to the target market (Ibp, 2015). The reason behind this is because most people have access to social media platforms

Production

In the production sector, Smoothie Giant, will need to first and foremost look at the most convenient strategy concerning obtaining the raw materials. In the plan, I would recommend the buying of new production machines and facilitates to help in the production of our juice beverage (Henderson, 2011). Buying of new facilities will ensure that Smoothie Giant will have no challenges in the initial stages of production. This is unlike having old or used machines, which might make it difficult in the production process due to the maintenance fees required for the maintenance of the old facilities.

Transitioning

The production of our products will start from a small scale production to, hopefully, a large scale production, which will lead us to the global level. We will first start with the purchase of high capacity refrigerators which will enable us to keep our already manufactured drinks before we can distribute it to the market. Research will be done in the purchasing of high speed and reliable bottling equipment. The bottling equipment should be enough to ensure that all our production centers are functioning well and in a fast manner. The burners and ovens as we transition to a large production company will have to be changed. We will require the purchase of new burners and ovens which will have a large capacity and be highly reliable. We will also need to partner with a leading fruitt selling company or market which will supply us with plenty of fruits at a cheaper price and without delay. This will be needed if and when Smoothie Giant becomes large scale. Currently, the fruit to be used in the new productions plan will be freshly bought from the market and local growers.

The main point to considering the use of the new machines is to ensure that the goods we produce are of high quality so as to gain customer’s trust. I intend to become very competitive in the market and also gain market control.

Inventory control

In business, the most important thing is to know the best strategy of marketing for the produced products. Smoothie Giant will seek supplies from leading fruit companies and also directly from farmers. We will also research how we can grow our own fruit by purchasing fertile land, which will assist us in the growing process. We will market our services to the target market of young professionals. Once we receive the order to provide them with our product to our customers.

Destination Method

After customers make their order we will then look at the best means as to how we can deliver the beverage to them. We can look into product delivery via Uber Eats or Doordash to make the delivery. As we continue in the production of our beverage we might also consider the production of other products such as pre-packaged fruits and other nutritional products which are easily marketable (Henderson, 2011).

Technology Plan

Modern technology has proved to be very helpful and reliable in all aspects of life. Digital technology is one of the biggest achievements that humanity has ever developed. This has helped in making a lot of tasks very possible and easy to execute. The new technology has assisted both the governments and private entities and firms in making their processes possible. In my company we will consider making use of the technology in the production, storing and marketing of our beverage. This will enhance the production of quality drinks and gain a competitive advantage in the market.

Software Needs

My company will use the most advanced software in the storage of data and information. The company’s privacy is very important. This will be made possible by storing our data and important information securely. I will recommend cloud storage to store our data and information. We will also ensure that we have a backup of the hard drive and one of our select control centers. The software we will use will have to be monitored by professional Information Technology (IT) Managers. These managers will monitor every department for instance in the finance department, the Human Resource department and the Marketing Department. This will ensure operations in these departments will be smooth and done in a more organized manner.

Hardware Needs

Our company will need strong and reliable hardware devices. This is one of the ways we can ensure that our information and data is well protected. Strong hardware is going to ensure that the process of operating machines and management of other activities such as inventory, management of employees, and management of orders among other activities will be smooth. If we are going to use low-quality hardware, we might risk losing data through damage or hardware failure. If this happens, it might lead to serious problems in the company which might lead to the collapse of our production.

Telecommunication needs

Communication is very vital in any business. In our company, we will need to have a well laid out communication plan between all the departments. The production department will have to communicate effectively with the finance and marketing departments for a smooth production process. We will install communication gadgets, such as an intercom system, in all the departments. We will install network infrastructure to boost communication within the departments.

Personnel Needs

In the production of our beverage, we will require a number of professional employees. These employees will aid in coming up with good strategies for making products and also doing the marketing. Generally, in our company, the employees should be entrepreneurial and hardworking as we are engaged in the production of consumer (Gitman, 2015). The employees will be hired from the local community where we set up our company and in our sub-branches across the world. This will ensure that we appreciate the community around and also have consumer trust as we hire the local people in each country.

Management and Organization

The management of any business or firm is supposed to monitor the operation of such business keenly. The mangers should be ready to act as examples to their employees. The management should be well organized and well-structured in the organization and delivery of goods and leadership to the rest of the employees.

Key management and Employees

Smoothie Giant is a beverage producing company that’s going to operate locally. Leadership and good management are, therefore, going to be very key in ensuring that plans of taking the company to a global stage. The top management should comprise of a team which is ready to listen, well organized, motivators and good speakers. The heads of departments should also have good management qualities. This will ensure that only qualified employees are hired by the company.

Board members and Advisors

The board of management of the company should act very wisely before reaching any decision. They should first listen to the views of employees and other stakeholders of the company. This will increase harmony and increase trust among the company employees. The advisors should also give their advice without having any personal interest. Their advice should first be analyzed and counter checked if they will be in the good interest of the company (Gitman, 2015).

The kind of management given in the company should be one that supports freedom of choice of the employees. The management style should be one that is friendly. This will make sure that as we produce our products, the employees will do so under no pressure.

Smoothie Giant will have a social responsibility especially in the creation of jobs to the locals. I feel this is our responsibility of appreciating the community for allowing us to serve them with our Beverage. The community is the first immediate market before we can export our products to the international market. We will show no discrimination whatsoever in race gender or age. We will treat every member of the community equally.

As we deal with every negativity either from the external or internal environment as soon as we identify them. The risk management team will have the responsibility or ensuring that the management is well informed about any kind of risk. These risks will be dealt with using the available resources

The use of excess preservatives might be dangerous to human health. Most consumers might, therefore, avoid buying manufactured goods such as our beverages. To avoid this, our company will use natural fruit juices in our production (Academic Press, 20130). The level of preservatives will be of very low percentage to reduce any health issues among our consumers.
