Due: by 11:59pm EST on Sunday at the end of Unit 6 For this assignment, you will submit a rough draft of the final assignment. This draft is 10% of your total final grade and designed for you to receive feedback prior to submitting the final paper. You should have begun your research for the final project and have a draft that is approximately 50% completed based on the assignment rubric. Required for the draft: title page, running headers, a blank page for the abstract, and a reference page. The body of the paper should include the material included in the course up to this point and any additional research you have conducted. For areas that have not been covered you can use placeholders to indicate further research is needed. Below are the expectations for the final assignment. You can use these to guide you in developing a rough draft based on the directions in the preceding paragraph. This final assignment is a culmination of the course material. You will write a 10-15 page research paper describing a potential problem within your organization that you will reframe into an innovative opportunity. You will then critically assess the potential outcomes or solutions for the problem. Key elements of the paper should include; clear reframing of problem, potential solutions considering both hypothetically positive or negative solutions, the innovative leadership and management theories and behaviors or traits of leaders needed to implement and support your solutions, potential barriers that you will need to overcome resistance and a possible plan for implementation your final recommendation. The paper will be 10 to 15 pages long (excluding title and reference pages), and will follow APA requirements. A proper abstract is required. Students will write in the third person voice. A table of contents and appropriate headings should be incorporated. Students are expected to incorporate research beyond the assigned readings, and to add their own critical thinking to supplement, interpret and apply the academic principles.
