Leadership of Change
CapraTek: Leading for Change Question: 1. What did you initially observe about the different channels of communication? Answer: The communication between Mark and I is disturbing and I understand why the employees are responding what way they are. There's lack of communication or when there is communication it's last minute. I dislike the profanity and using emoji's. We have to remember this is a business and must remain professional at all times.
Question: 2. Which communications convey an actual problem, and which are just blowing off steam? Answer: All three communications convey an actual problem. The Mystery Meet email and Slack Thread are both blowing off steaming and both are not communicating professional.
Question: 3. How do you plan to handle the problems as you see them? Answer: First, I would introduce myself. Then, I would let everyone know no one is getting laid off. Lastly, talk about some a few changes when it comes to communicating with employees. I would state I how I would try my best not to last minute communicating important information. Things happens but I will make is a priority keeping everyone up to speed.
