Creating Training Tools

This is a very interesting assignment. You are to imagine your manager has requested that everyone in the company take the StrengthsFinder test. Now, your manager has asked you to put together a training tool on how to best coach and develop employees in the decision-making process who have varied strengths. In this section you will start by informing the reader (your professor) the purpose of this assignment. You are to ensure that the first word of each paragraph is indented a ½ inch. Also, each paragraph is to have a minimum of three to six sentences.

Decision Making Process

You are to start this section by briefly describing the simple 5-step decision making process. This process includes stating the problem, gathering information for weighing options, considering the consequences, making the decision, and evaluating the decision. Next, you are to create a scenario in which you will state a decision that two employees have been asked to make.

Decision Making Scenario

A possible example of a decision that has to be made could be making travel arrangements (to include hotel accommodations) to attend a business meeting in New York City the following week, Monday morning starting at 9:00 a.m. You are free to use any business decision. Once you have described the decision then you are to identify the two employees with different strengths. Make sure that you identify the specific Clifton StrengthFinder trait. Also, explain how each individual would approach the decision based on their unique strength.

Employee Training and Development

As a manager one of your roles is to train and/or develop your employees. In this section you are to identify at least two (2) different strengths (you may use the two above) and describe the process you would use to develop these employees. Be specific by incorporating a scenario into this section. As with other sections, please ensure that the first word of the paragraph is to be indented a ½ inch. Also, there needs to be a minimum of three to six sentences in each paragraph.

Conclusion

The conclusion sums up what you have discussed in your assignment. The first sentence, as with other new paragraph should be indented a ½ inch. Ensure that you use the grammarly.com tool so that you will be able to detect any grammatical or sentence structure issues. Finally, when you submit your paper for grading it will automatically go through the safeassign tool. The similarity percentage should be no more than 30.
