Hullen, T. A. (2014). One voice, one message, but conflicting goals: cohesiveness and consistency in the European Neighbourhood Policy. Journal of European Policy .
(Insert your brief summary, around 100 words))
The concept of ‘conflicting goals’ aim to define a process where the aims of an organization, or in this case the European Union are not in resolution with the structure, aim and fundamental principles. Conflicting goals is a derivative strategy that accounts for the creation of policies, strategies and direction approaches that do not fulfill the requirement designed by the companies. Although the goals do seem to be beneficial for the companies and organizations in the longer run, by utilizing the resources in efficient ways and granting sustainability. However, they form a different direction and do not seem to be in congregation with the initial goals.
