In the readings for this learning module, the authors talked about the importance of recognizing knowledge, skills, and experience (aka head skills) within the individuals who work in an organization. Clearly, to be effective these are still very important objectives. Based on what you have read, describe specifically what the pursuit of this type of skill set is all about. Why is it important? How will you know it when you see it?

In addition to the recognition and understanding of the all-important head skills as discussed in DQ 1, the authors also address the all-important issue of emotional intelligence. For this discussion question, articulate similarly why the pursuit of emotional intelligence is essential. Why do individuals need this particular professional acumen?  What does it look like when you see it? How can it be measured?
