1. The purpose of this activity is to assess your knowledge and skills in Lead effective workplace relationships.

4. If you feel the decision made by your assessor was incorrect you have the rights to appeal the grading through filling out an appeals form which will then be handle by the Academic Manager.
5. A “NYS” (not yet satisfactory) result of this task may be returned to you for a re-assessment. Re- assessments must be submitted by an agreed date with your assessor.
6. The re-assessment work must address the specific performance tasks beyond doubt for the assessor to issue a satisfactory (pass) result. A repeat NYS outcome could lead to an administration fee for further reassessment.

Summative Assessments
The summative assessments are the major activities designed to assess your skills, knowledge and performance, as required to show competency in this unit. These activities should be completed after finishing the Learner Resource. You should complete these as stated below and as instructed by your trainer/assessor.

Section A: Knowledge Activity
The Knowledge Activity is a series of activities to confirm your competency for all of the required knowledge in the unit of competency.
Section B: Skills Performance Activity
The Skills Performance Activity is designed to be a practical activity performed based on the information you have obtained in Section A. You should demonstrate the required practical tasks for the unit of competency and be observed by the assessor, as applicable to the situation.
If necessary for the activities, you should attach completed written answers, portfolios or any evidence of competency when submitting this work.
Marking guidance
You will undertake two Summative Assessments as your own work but communicating with others.
To satisfactorily pass this unit, you need to ensure that each component of the Summative Assessment (Sections A & B) is completed, submitted and marked Satisfactory.

You will be supplied with the assessment materials via the Moodle course for this unit.
It is acceptable to prepare and capture parts of your work using word processing, scanned document or other forms of technology (eg audio recordings). When you do this, you MUST name the files correctly and upload them to the Moodle course for this unit.
Make sure that you complete and submit the cover page each time you submit your work for a Summative Assessment.

Review the Bounce Fitness Corporate Marketing Plan and other relevant documentation and then prepare a Project Scope document (500-700 words) that will enable you to manage the execution of this plan.
Bounce Fitness’s CEO will sign off on this project.
As well as the normal things you should include in a Project Scope document, ensure you also include:

Bounce Fitness’s CEO and the Board of Directors have delegating authority of this project.

Once you have received confirmation from your Trainer that you have correctly completed Tasks 1 & 2, assume that Bounce Fitness’s CEO and Board have approved the Project Scope.
It is now time to prepare a draft project plan (500-1000 words) based on this scoping document which will be used to consult with your team members for their input.
As well as the normal things you should include in a Project Scope document, ensure you also include:
· a risk management plan which includes WHS requirements
· recordkeeping and reporting requirements
· lines of authority and approvals
· organisational, legislative and regulatory requirements related to the project

At this meeting (10-15 mins), you need to:

Following your team meeting in Task 4, finalise your project plan to incorporate the feedback and input of your team members.

You also need to gain the approval of the CEO and Board of your finalised project plan which incorporates the feedback and input of your team members.

Task 7 – Brief and support project team
It is now time to implement your project plan by writing an email (50-70 words) to your project team explaining how they will need to support you in ensuring quality outcomes of the project by:

· how you will support each team member undertake and manage their roles and responsibilities for the project
· how your team will meet the project’s timelines

Task 8 – Minutes of meetings
Your project has commenced. You need to monitor the progress of the project by
· holding two meetings after each progression point with your project team
· writing two emails containing a progress report after each progression point to the CEO and the Board based on the following.

You have received some preliminary reports related to your project as follows:
· Monthly sales figures are down, while monthly marketing costs have gone up, compared to the project’s budget
· A key marketing person has fallen sick and needs to be replaced
Progress point 2
You have received further preliminary reports related to your project as follows:
· Monthly sales figures have started to steadily rise, however monthly marketing costs continue to up compared to budget
· Feedback regarding the marketing mix may need adjusting
At each progress meeting 1 (10-15 mins each), you need to discuss:
· How well the project is progressing/being achieved in relation to your project plan
· How the project finances, resources and quality is progressing/been achieved
· The project’s risk management plan
