Read Canterbury Tales and read the study the following:

Chaucer's Introduction

The General Prologue to The Canterbury Tales

The Miller's Prologue

The Miller's Tale

The Wife of Bath's Prologue

The Wife of Bath's tale

Create an image that symbolizes a theme or conflict in the literary work you are studying. Sketch and scan or use graphic software to create your image.

o Paste the image into your paper

o Explain the meaning of the photo compared to the literary work

o Answer how and why the photo represents your interpretation of the literary work

Source requires:

At least one primary source which is the literary work you are researching.

At least one reference source which includes an encyclopedia, lecture, set of class notes, dictionary, The Handbook to Literature, our textbook’s introduction, or similar source. Private websites do not qualify.

At least one book source from a library, bookstore, home library, or similar location. A dictionary, encyclopedia, study guide such as SparkNotes, or similar reference does not qualify for a book source. Ebooks do not qualify unless a print version is available in hardcopy. Your book source must discuss your assigned author, topic, research question, and literary period.
