Briefing PowerPoint Presentation Instructions

In this assignment you will create a PowerPoint presentation, as if you were delivering your findings to your principle or a group.

1. Clearly identify the main issue (approximately 3–5 slides).

2. Provide background on the main issue and assessment of current status of policy (approximately 4–6 slides).

3. Include a review of past, current, and proposed policy, and a recommendation as to what course of action should be taken (approximately 5–8 slides).

4. Write a presentation script in the notes section (found at the bottom of the slide) demonstrating what you would say if you were giving the presentation live. Each slide must have 150–300 words in the notes section.

5. Include at least 3 scholarly citations in current Turabian format to support your claims.

You are not limited to a particular number of slides as long as your PowerPoint presentation covers all of the categories listed in the instructions. You may include graphics, but ensure that they are properly cited. Be sure to use minimal text on the slide and include most information in the “verbal” notes section.

Your Briefing Paper PowerPoint Presentation is due by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Sunday of Module/Week 7.
