PROJECT PROOPOSAL FOR KNOX DAIRY FARM

Question 1.

If there is one important food component for our body building then consider milk. Manufacturing dairy farms play major roles not only for consumption of milk but also earning revenues through exports and imports. I chose a dairy farm called Knox Dairy. The farm has been granted one among the top ten best dairy farms in California society to the society members due to the quality of milk they offer. It is a new state company registered under the milk cooperatives movement (Blackmore, 2015). It is to offer the good returns to farmers and serve the best interest of consumers by giving quality services and products. It is also considered the largest milk brand with an annual turnover of US $1011 million and an average of 10.13million liters of milk per day in 2016. The scope of the project is developing customer trust and efficiency to the community members and the customers through advertisements on social media and giving samples to buyers.

Question 2

The project goals for this company include:

a) Ensuring there is team work to maximize profits through sales.

b) To provide quality milk for human consumption and satisfaction

c) Ensuring that the CEO give productive equipment for milk production to the producers for maximum production

With the following objectives:

a) To increase the sales of the company by opening branches in other cities.

b) To support the new policies implemented by the dairy cooperative in maintaining and enlarging the dairy sector in future

c) To be the top leading milk producing farm in the whole world.

Question 3

The Key Customers will be

California University and Clairton Hotel

I am proposing both internal and external stakeholders

External

• The Consumers

• Creditors

Figure 1: A Chart showing Examples of External and Internal Stakeholders:

External Stakeholders

· The consumers

· Creditors

· The government

Internal stakeholders

· Managers/owners

· Employees

Stakeholders

The external shareholders in the business such as the government, consumers and the creditors affect the business and its performance. The government amount of tax levied to the company will directly determine the market price of the product. For example, high taxes will increase market price for the milk. The customers require the business to sell them products of high quality at an affordable price and the creditors’ needs their dues paid on time.

On the other hand, the internal entities such as employees want the company to retain them at the organization to earn cash that sustains their living whereas the managers and the owners of the business desire to maximize the corporation’s profits throughout the operation period.

Question 4

Deliverables

· Software products customized by the client

Recommendation

By the management engaging all stakeholders in long-term decision making will assist the company in having a continuous progress in terms of their goods and services for the realization of their long-term operations and sustenance. The approach will be highly effective by having daily interactions through plan tours for the consumers, customer regular visits to the company and creation of local websites for discussion. The weather changes also affected the manufacturing of milk at a required amount making its supply to be lower when the season is dry.

Conclusion

For a good dairy management to be effective and flexible, the top leaders must ensure that they offer enough resources such as equipment for efficient delivery and daily operations of activities within the Knox dairy farm. Each of the employees must be allocated his or duty based on his capabilities and knowledge in performing the work. It will ensure that workers utilize their time properly for effective production within the required period. Good quality milk is best for our health and nutrition welfare.
