BP1003: Early Childhood Organizations (Performance Task)

For this Performance Task, you will create a guide to help you better understand the leading organizations and resources that inform professional practice in the early childhood field. This guide may be of use to you throughout your Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Studies program, in your work with children and families, and as a valuable professional resource for colleagues in the workplace, if you choose to share it.

Assignment Instructions:

· Download the Early Childhood Professional Resource Guide Template document.

· Visit the websites for the first three organizations (Center on the Developing Child, NAEYC, and Zero to Three) and complete the template.

· Select two additional organizations of your choice listed on the template and complete the template for those organizations. Note: You will have completed the template for a total of five organizations.

· Choose at least three of the five organizations, and explain how you envision incorporating the available resources (from the organizations) to grow as an early childhood professional. (3 paragraphs)

Your response to this Performance Task should reflect the criteria provided in the Rubric and adhere to the required length. This Assessment requires submission of three (3) files. Save your file as follows, BP1003_ firstinitial_lastname (for example, BP1003_ J_Smith). BP1003_ firstinitial_lastname_Cert1; BP1003_ firstinitial_lastname_Cert2.

You may submit a draft of your assignment to the  Turnitin Draft Check  area to check for authenticity. When you are ready to upload your completed Assessment, use the Assessment tab on the top navigation menu.
