What is NeuroFascial Process
• NeuroFascial Process is NFP
• NFP was developed by 1980
• It was investigated during more than 20 years with
hundreds of practitioners, thousands of clients,
hundreds of parents
• It has been used with all patient populations
• Thousands of children have benefited from NFP

How long to do NFP
• An NFP session
Usually a 20 minute session is
adequate for one session. More
time is good. Less time may not
be enough.

How many people do you need
to perform NFP? • You need your child!
• You need at least one other person!
• The person uses both hands:
– On the Process Center
– Over the site:
• Forehead, top of head, side/s of head, back of head, bridge of nose

You Can Use More People &
Get More Done! • You need your child
• You need at least one other person
• IF you have more than one person, you can
get more Process Centers covered!
• The Best: enough persons to cover the „site‟
(forehead, top of head, side/s of head, back
of head, bridge of nose)
– And all of the Process Centers
simultaneously

When Is It O.K. To Do More?
• There are no precautions
or contraindications to
NFP!
• Do as much as you wish!
dcr
Connecticut School of Integrative Manual Therapy
Solution for Health
How Much Time? • With a child who has problems from birth,
or from an accident:
– Total: at least 5 hours of NFP from the
„site‟ (forehead, top of head, side/s of
head, back of head, bridge of nose)
• To each of the Process Centers

Solution for Health
Can You Do Too Much? • You cannot over treat with NFP
• Try to get as much of the basic 5
hours performed ONCE.
• Try to get this performed as
quickly as possible:
– In one month
– Use weekends
– Use friends and family
– Use other children
– Just get it done!

What should you expect? • Expect changes
• After the 5 hours of:
– ALL SITES (Process Centers) TO ALL
PROCESS CENTERS
– Expect to be surprised:
• Decreased agitation; improved
awareness; improved cognition;
decreased rage responses………..
