It's important that you read and understand Chapter 13 on Media Effects and Theories before completing this personal reflection assignment. After reading, watch the following videos and then take a few minutes to reflect on how the media has influenced your attitudes/actions regarding certain issues, groups of people, or even yourself. These two short videos will give you some ideas about topics you can address, and you should comment on specific information from these sources in your post.

Write a personal reflection of at least 300 words addressing these topics. Note that the final video does not directly address how the media constructs our notion of masculinity, but I expect you to have acquired sufficient media literacy skills and knowledge in this semester to think critically about media's influence in this area.
