Objective:
The main objective of this project is to provide you with an opportunity to explore the use of artificial
intelligence (AI) as an emerging technology in business or government, focusing on their advantages and
disadvantages compared to the existing modes of performing different tasks.
Description:
This project requires you to conduct a research about the use of AI in various business or government
application areas (e.g. health care, manufacturing, transportation, service,, airlines, police, etc.) and to
write a report of your findings. Your research sources will be the Internet, periodicals, newspaper reports,
or interviews with relevant people to prepare your report.
Your report should include the following sections:
1. Introduction about AI and how it works in general
2. Examples of using AI in different business or government areas. Note: identify and explain at
least three examples.
3. Advantages and benefits of using AI
4. Potential problems, risks, and challenges of using AI technology
5. References (including links to websites, YouTube, etc.) (Note: you must identify the references
you have used in the report).
Guidelines for writing the project:
1. Organize your report according to the sections above, using the same headings
2. Use font 12 times new roman and space = 1.5.
3. The project is 10-12 pages. Marks will be deducted for a report less than 10 pages.
4. Too many pictures or images will NOT be accepted
5. The report should have a cover sheet which includes the course number and name, semester, your
name, and the title “Group project: Artificial Intelligence”.
Important Notes:
1. The group size is one to a maximum of four students. Working alone is a personal choice, and
more than 4 students WILL NOT be accepted.
2. Identify in the report the tasks assigned to each student and list the responsibilities.
3. Copy-and-paste (plagiarized) information is not be accepted and will result in marks deduction.
4. Marks will be deducted for late submission.
5. Submission of the assignment will be via Blackboard using the SafeAssign Tool.
